After several visits to the ENT doctor (the last one about 12 days ago to confirm that everything was ok), they scheduled me for surgery yesterday the 19th at 2:30 p.m. on the castle table, for the nasal septum and turbinates at 5:30 p.m., and I arrived there. Me with my companion, my suitcase and my desire to start a new life breathing more energy as the Dr. told me.
Nothing could be further from the truth..... He arrived at the castle table (where they treated me great and the girl at the reception did everything in her power and more) and handed over the papers they gave me for the operation, it was missing the authorization from Sanitas to operate on me, I tell him it can't be that I had an appointment to confirm everything with the Dr. about 10 days ago, then begins an exhausting day of calls to Sanitas to authorize the operation (which when he made an appointment to have the operation and told me that everything was already ok just to go and breathe better from now on, I took it for granted that it was all real.
Well, after calling and waiting, a girl from Sanitas insurance called me at 4:20 p.m., that's how she introduced herself.
That they did not authorize the operation because according to my contracted policy I had to pay 1000 euros to authorize the operation... how??? And I find out now that I'm in the hospital to have surgery in 1 hour???
The insurance girl tells me that she doesn't know how this could have happened, that someone should have informed me before, that she agrees with me about the injustice that I am experiencing, but that her job is to tell me this, that she is sorry that she ended up to go to work now and this story is found, it tells me that there are times when the center asks for authorization and times when the client asks for it, but that they should have informed me that it has a cost outside the policy, logically before going to the operation, which ultimately did not happen.
The very kind doctor called me around 5:00 p.m. to tell me that this case had never happened to her and that everything that was happening depended on Sanitas, and that's how I left the hospital, without surgery and with my anxiety attack.

The improvement in the facilities is noticeable: somewhat larger than in the center of Pintor Sobejano Street.
The problem is access. By public transport, only two lines approach, but do not reach, Torre Alvarez Street (C5 and RAYO 20). If you try from the center of Murcia it is more or less possible; But if you want to get there from the El Carmen neighborhood, the only useful option is to take a taxi. By private car it is better not to go: there are no public parking nearby, nor are there any free parking spaces in the area. Even when getting into or out of a vehicle, there is a lack of areas to facilitate it. If you try to arrive with a person with reduced mobility, we won't even talk. In Pintor Sobejano there was a parking lot next to it and it was much easier to get there to drop off a person with reduced mobility. In the area there were also parking spaces for vehicles with a parking card for people with disabilities.
